Users struggle to copy, verify, and recover text
Desktop and web users run into text they cannot select, including text in dialog boxes, images, and websites that disable copying. Some copy buttons may not include all the accompanying text, so users paste elsewhere to check; meanwhile, clipboard history can be hard to search when they need something they copied earlier. Current workarounds in the signals include saving screenshots, pasting into a text editor, and copying the content again.

Often I need to copy and save some text from pop up dialog boxes. But, they don't allow the text to be copied (I guess the forms don't have a focusable element on them). SO, I end up doing a screenshot and saving to the disk
I wish there were a similar tool for desktop OSes (Linux, windows, macOS) that is as easy to use as CTS
