SSH agent friction disrupts developers’ Git workflows
Developers using SSH for Git run into repeated authorization prompts, painful account switching, and agent setups that don’t persist or work reliably across environments. For developers using SSH for Git across multiple accounts and environments. Mentioned from Nov 2024 to Jun 2026 on Bluesky, product forums and GitHub.
