Social users want reliable, less-hostile online communities
Some social-media users say they want a service that works reliably and offers active moderation, fewer bots and trolls, and no ads; some are willing to pay for that experience. Others want a Twitter-style space where they can participate without bullying or feeling overly restricted. The signals point to a shared desire for a better-run social space, but they do not establish one set of moderation rules that would satisfy everyone.
For social-media users seeking ad-free, actively moderated communities. Mentioned from Nov 2024 to Apr 2026 on Bluesky.

Don't get it. Would happily pay to have something that's moderated, doesn't have adds, and functions well
I would happily pay a small monthly fee to be on this site - if we can keep bots/trolls/fakes off + no ads. Anybody else?
