yes it was going through all the references that took me so long as on the surface they look plausible. i also had to write why they were incorrect in a way that a non-early modern historian could understand for the panel. just tedious, thankless work!!
is there a tool out there that will automatically parse DOIs in a reference list and attempt to resolve/verify them?
