People struggle to extract measurements and geometry from images
People want to turn images into usable measurements or geometry: estimate object dimensions, get object boundaries as coordinates, or calculate how much area a color covers. The requests suggest a gap for accessible image-analysis tools, but real-world dimensions from a photo require a known scale and can be unreliable when perspective is involved. Automatic label placement is an adjacent, less directly related need and could make the product too broad.

I'm looking for a tool that could identify the boundaries of objects in an image. Sort of like object selection tool in Photoshop where you click on an object and an the exact shape of the object highlighted. Ideally it could output polygonal coordinates so that I can use them in my app
Random question… is there an app, or a function of an app, or any tool really that can take a simple two-color image like this and calculate how much of the area is white and how much is black, either as percentages or as measurements like square inches based on the input dimensions of the image?
