People struggle to eat regularly in ways that feel manageable
People with depression or low appetite describe having trouble getting food they can face, while people changing their eating habits describe hunger and cravings making those habits difficult to sustain. Some also want reliable nutrition guidance without diet-culture framing; one person specifically says useful information is hard to separate from noisy discussion. The evidence points to a need for practical, nonjudgmental support, not a promise to treat depression or deliver weight loss.
For adults struggling to eat regularly or change eating habits. Mentioned from Oct 2024 to Sep 2026 on Bluesky and Hacker News.

Since getting very ill with depression I've found it hard to eat properly, to the point where it's badly affected my energy, but that same lack of energy makes it hard to fix. Is there a service or resource to help with this that won't immerse me in diet culture?
so idk if any homies seeing this have any recommendations for "I gotta eat and literally nothing is appealing" because I'm tired of the hunger headaches but I also don't want to just choke down stuff that doesn't feel appealing?
