PC players find game mod setup confusing and fragile

Players across several PC games describe modding as difficult, with one Dragon Age: Inquisition player saying setup now requires multiple tools and steps, and a Cyberpunk player unable to find an easy-to-use manager. Skyrim players also describe the process as frustrating and hesitate to add mods once they have invested time in a character. The common need is easier setup and safer experimentation, though each game may require its own support.

  1. OK, when did it become such a pain in the ass to use mods in #DragonAge Inquisition??? Used to be you just downloaded and go? Now I need to download this tool and these two things, and what the fuck?????
  2. Am I the only one that thinks most mod managers fucking suck? I feel like HedgeModManager and SAModManager are the only 2 really good mod manager programs. I've only really though about this because I can't find a good easy to use manager for Cyberpunk
