Password generators fail users’ length and site-rule constraints
Password-manager users want generated passwords and passphrases that fit website limits and their own preferences, but generator settings can restrict length or word count. When a site rejects a password, its rules may be unclear, leaving users to relax settings incrementally or switch to an online generator. A separate, adjacent need is generating likely combinations when recovering an encrypted file.

The built in passphrase generator was one of my favorite features up until a few days ago when I noticed I wasn’t ALLOWED to make a password that would fit into a website’s max length
At the moment I have simply stopped using Bitwarden’s password generator feature and am using an online generator
