A separate catalog could improve discovery and sharing, but it cannot guarantee that plugins will remain compatible as they change.

But knowing which ones work well together and which don’t is difficult. If I put in the work to make a pack of well known plugins that work together, theres no straightforward way to communicate to other people what the exact set of plugins should be to get the same experience as me
