Households struggle to find easy meals that fit everyone’s needs
Households trying to eat well struggle to find meals that fit their dietary needs, budget, available time, and preferences. Recipe feeds and apps can offer inspiration, but the evidence describes gaps in checking recipes against individual food profiles and finding options that are genuinely quick or affordable. Choosing among planned meals can also take effort, and some households resort to spreadsheets to organize recipes.
For households balancing dietary needs and limited cooking time. Mentioned from Jul 2024 to Jul 2026 on Bluesky, Hacker News and Stack Exchange.

The recipes that get downloaded must be checked by the app to see when the cooking staff or family or person cooks for the specific users, that the recipes respect the eating users' (the ones in the profiles described in the app) food tolerances. The CookBook app does not do this
Where are those recipes? Like ones that Kenji does, but without having to do everything from scratch because I'm lazy and would forgo some amount of taste for pouring a packet or jar of something over some other, more fresh, stuff and cook it for 30 minutes
