Digital artists struggle to export artwork in usable formats

Artists describe costly embroidery conversion, buggy or limited vector output, and tedious batch exporting or moving artwork out of Apple workflows. Current workarounds include exporting by stack and using a vectorization setting that can also remove intended white areas. A small utility could help once files are accessible, but reaching into every art app or reliably generating embroidery stitch files would be a separate challenge.

For digital illustrators and artwork creators. Mentioned from Dec 2024 to Sep 2026 on Bluesky.

  1. In Procreate you *can* go through, select individual works and mass export them by file type, or mass export a whole stack of works - but it's super tedious regardless. I've been going by stack, thankfully my Procreate albums are super organized

  2. I just can't find a good way to export data. It's made to only export pixels or movies. Not vector. The vector export is buggy
