I wanted to ask but how do people afford doing animation with any of these programs being so subscription based, is there nothing on the market that can actually be bought once and used in any professional sense?
if theres a real aftereffects equivalent for linux i will be the happiest person on this earth. having linux on my main computer makes having to still use windows on my laptop a huge pain in the ass
